City Administration provides support and direction for the delivery of exceptional customer service to City of Travelers Rest citizens, visitors, City Council, and city employees.

The Administrator provides assistance and guidance to the Mayor and City Council and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City Government by directly or indirectly supervising all city employees and departments. He provides financial advice and prepares the annual budget for review and approval by City Council and assures the effective delivery of city services within the approved budget.

The City Clerk works closely with the City Administrator, Mayor and City Council to prepare meeting agendas, give public notice, FOIA, and recording minutes and official records of City Council meetings. The City Clerk serves as the City’s Treasurer, local elections official, handles requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act, and maintains Personnel records on all city employees.
