Trailblazer Park is a beautiful urban green space located in Travelers Rest, SC near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Furman University. Serving as a source of wellness and pleasure for our citizens, the park provides a venue for diverse cultural traditions and celebrations. Visitors come to enjoy free concerts and movies, festivals and the Travelers Rest Farmers Market, with beautiful mountain views in the background.
Music in the Park Concert Series
Enjoy free concerts under the stars on Saturday evenings in May, June and September with a variety of local and touring bands. Recognized as one of the best outdoor music venues in South Carolina, Trailblazer Park is the place to enjoy great music with mountain views, food trucks, and the best craft brews and wine this side of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Movies in the Park
Trailblazer Park’s FREE outdoor Movies in the Park series on the big screen happens every Saturday in August. Bring chairs and blankets and enjoy great food and ice cream in the park with our food truck vendors. Movies begin at dusk and are free! Please remember that alcohol is not permitted in Trailblazer Park.
Travelers Rest Farmers Market
From May through September, enjoy fresh from the farm goodness, live music, cooking demos, crafts from local artists, events for kids, tips from growers and so much more in a relaxed, mountain atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fall Harvest Market & Food Truck Rally
Thursdays in October we celebrate small-town living with a community event complete with family-style dining, food trucks and local music! railblazer Park is located at 235 Trailblazer Drive in Travelers Rest, SC on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. It’s easily accessible by foot & bike using the Trailblazer Park spur off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail or driving from U.S. highways 276 & 25. Both highways provide quick access to the park from South Carolina as well as the mountain communities of North Carolina.
Ample parking is available on both the Northside of the venue, near the covered pavilion and on the Southside, facing the amphitheater off of Old Buncombe Road. ADA parking is available in both areas.
