About the Park
Located in Travelers Rest, SC near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Furman University, Trailblazer Park is a beautiful urban green space that serves as a source of wellness and pleasure for our citizens, and a window into the diverse cultural assets and traditions that enrich life in Travelers Rest. Visitors come to enjoy our many free events, such as concerts, movies, festivals and the Travelers Rest Farmers Market with beautiful mountain views in the background.

Music in the Park Concert Series

Rock and roll at Trailblazer Park! Enjoy free concerts Saturday evening in May, June and September with a variety of local and touring bands. Recognized as one of the best outdoor music venues in South Carolina, Trailblazer Park is the place to be on Saturdays in the Upstate this summer. With Classic Rock, Retro 80’s, Rockabilly, Country, Rhythm and Blues and more we’ve got a little something for everyone. Bring a blanket or chair and relax in the park.

Fall Bluegrass & Harvest Market

Thursdays in October we celebrate small-town living with a community event complete with family-style dining and authentic Bluegrass music! The Travelers Rest Farmers Market sets up under the pavilion with vendors selling everything from local produce to handmade artisan products and old-time, bluegrass songs are performed in the open-air amphitheater. A great lineup of food trucks gathers and families sit down to a community-spirited evening for one of the most charming experiences in the Upstate. Fall Bluegrass & Harvest Market Schedule.

Travelers Rest Farmers Market 

From May through September, enjoy fresh from the farm goodness, live music, cooking demos, crafts from local artists, events for kids, tips from growers and so much more in a relaxed, mountain atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Travelers Rest Farmers Market offers a local shopping experience that includes everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables, to fresh meat products, herbs, honey, eggs, cheese, jams and jellies, seafood, artisan bread, baked goods, cut flowers, potted plants and so much more. Movies in the Park

Trailblazer Park’s FREE outdoor Movies in the Park series on the big screen happens every Saturday in August. Bring chairs and blankets and enjoy great food and ice cream in the park with our food truck vendors. Movies begin at dusk and are free! Please remember that alcohol is not permitted in Trailblazer Park. All movies begin around 8:30 pm.

Trailblazer Park is available for your next event whether it’s a festival, grand gala under the stars, a race with a purpose, a simple garden soiree, or the perfect birthday party for your four-year-old.
