Carriage Rides – Thurs & Fri, 6 pm – 9 pm – Enjoy an old-fashioned horse & buggy carriage ride ($10. per adult. Kids ride for free). Loading behind the Whistle Stop Cafe in the United Methodist parking lot. Tickets are sold onsite.
Christmas March on Main – Fri 7 pm starting at the gazebo – Decorate your strollers, bicycles, wagons, and family with battery-operated Christmas lights and join the first annual Christmas March on Main. The procession gathers at the Gazebo on Main at 7 pm. We’ll walk to McElhany where we will be greeted by the TRelfs.
Christmas Market – Fri 5 pm – 9 pm – Find amazing locally made and baked items from artists, makers, and bakers in front of TR Mercantile Company. Unique gifts and yummy treats for everyone on your Christmas list, including your canine kiddos!
TRelf Scavenger Hunt – Thurs – Sat 6 pm – 9 pm – Pick up your Scavenger Hunt card from the Winter Lights Headquarters located in the former Pace Running store at 108 S Main Street then visit participating shops to find the hidden TRelf. Shops are listed on the back of the card then return to the Winter Lights Headquarters to redeem your gift bag.
Make & Take Ornaments – Thurs, Fri & Sat, 6 pm – til closing in TR Makers Co. & TRee house Cafe – Make a one-of-a-kind ornament for your Christmas tree and have fun with friends and family as you create holiday memories.
Snowball Fights by the Gazebo – Thursday, Fri & Sat, 6 pm – 9 pm – Join the fun and dodge left and right as you engage in an all-out snowball fight with these plush, safe snowballs! Located by the gazebo on Main St you’ll find lots of soft snowballs to throw and enjoy a lively winter game.
Gingerbread Photo Prop
An adorable Gingerbread photo prop is located next to the gazebo for families to capture their visit to TR.
2020 Dreams Wall
Come share your dreams for 2020! We will be writing down all the dreams and creating a “Community Dreams Collage” to a post on our Facebook page in January. It’s a fun, community experience and a great opportunity to share your inspiring dreams.
Holiday Themed Food Vendors Fri & Sat, 6 pm – 9 pm – Main Street will play host to vendors selling everything from funnel cakes and cookies to pound cake and roasted corn. The roasted corn vendor will be located in front of Montgomery Grace, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the other vendors will be located by the gazebo on Main St. Friday and Saturday.
Choir Music in the Gazebo – Friday at 6:30 – Clearview Baptist Church. Saturday at 6:30 Washington Ave Brothers Band. Sing along as the choirs perform Christmas carols and hymns each night.
Toy Drive Collection – Thurs, Fri & Sat, 6 pm – 9 pm – Help us make the holiday spirit bright for local children and their families in need this Christmas by dropping off an unwrapped gift at the Winter Lights Headquarters located in the former Pace Running store at 108 S Main Street.
Free Gift Wrapping
We are offering free gift wrapping in the Toy Drive headquarters located at 108 S Main St in the former Pace Running store to everyone that buys a product from a Downtown TR merchant. Make sure you take advantage of this great TR perk!
