Welcome to the artist’s information webpage for the Travelers Rest Browse & Stroll Art Market Series! 

In this popular, outdoor art event, artists are located along the Swamp Rabbit Trail and on Main Street. Merchants in town join the event, setting up tables and displays in front of their shops. We are looking for artists in all mediums; fine craft, fine art, and folk art are all welcome.

SHOW HOURS:
11 am – 4 pm

BOOTH FEE:
There is no charge to participate in the event

BOOTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • Artists are required to bring their own booth setup
  • Booth must be white and of festival quality
  • No larger than 10’ x 10’
  • Vendors receive a colorful pennant banner to hang on their canopy (we’ll come around to collect the banners after the event ends)
  • Electricity is not available
  • Tents/displays MUST be weighted (30 lbs per canopy leg). No pegs or spikes allowed
  • Booth assignments are at the discretion of the festival and are not interchangeable

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION:

  • All work exhibited must be original, handcrafted work produced by the artist and may not be the result of work from commercial kits or molds. No flea market items or resale merchandise allowed
  • The work exhibited must match the quality and style as represented by the artist in his or her application
  • Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting South Carolina sales tax
  • Demonstrations of your craft are encouraged
  • Artists must be present during the entire event and must personally staff the exhibit space
  • Booths must remain intact until closing
  • Vendors show at their own risk. The City of Travelers Rest, sponsors and organizers will not be held liable for damage, loss, or personal injuries
  • Exhibitors should purchase their own insurance to cover personal loss or liability
