Any person, firm or corporation violating this article or after due notice shall fail to comply with orders issued by the fire official under the terms and provisions of this article, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished upon conviction by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
