TR Greenway Trail Project Underway
On May 6, 2024, officials had a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction on a new 2-mile concrete trail connecting the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail to neighborhoods and the George I Theisen Family YMCA TR. The entrance to the TR Greenway will be located next to the TR High School on Geer Hwy and will provide a safe walking path for students and residents to access the facilities of the YMCA. The project was made possible through a collaboration between the City, Upstate Greenways & Trails Alliance, and Greenville County. The TR Greenway is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
