Victims Services

Despite our best efforts, crime will always be with us and the Travelers Rest Police Department pledges to ensure that crime victims receive fair and unbiased access to the criminal justice system and related social service providers.

The City of Travelers Rest’s victim’s advocate, Lauren Huffman, has been trained to support victims of crime by offering victims information, emotional support, and help finding resources and filling out paperwork. Ms. Huffman may also go to court with victims. In addition, Ms. Huffman can contact other criminal justice or social service agencies to get help or information for victims. Ms. Huffman can be reached at 864-834-9029 or e-mail: huffman@trpolice.com.
